Welcome to the Dance Spot
Founded by Susie Shoop, our studio sets the standard of excellence in dance instruction in Stafford, Virginia for over 28 years. We offer all styles of dance lessons for all ages and abilities in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Gain confidence, poise, and long lasting friendships.
We offer classes in ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, acrobatics, hip hop, and combination classes starting at age 2!
A Message to Our Dance Spot Families
After 30 wonderful years, The Dance Spot will be closing its doors following our June recital as Miss Susie begins her well-deserved retirement.
This decision comes with many emotions, as the studio has been such a special part of our family and community for decades. We are incredibly grateful for every student, parent, teacher, and supporter who has been part of The Dance Spot throughout the years. Watching generations of dancers grow in confidence, talent, and friendships has been an honor and a joy.
Classes will continue as scheduled through recital, and we look forward to celebrating one final performance together in June.
Thank you for allowing us to share in so many memories over the past 30 years. The love and support from our dance families has meant more to us than words can express.
